In relation to Edgar Martins work, I came up with various ideas and topics to discuss for a contextual review after producing a small mindmap. Although many things came up as I was brainstorming, there were three main ones that really showed strong potential for being good topics to discuss. As follows:

- The social, political and economical impilications of the theme the artist/photographer was working on (i.e. it's effects on the housing market, the controversy that surrounds the photos and how they ended up representing a crisis that was going on all over the world).

- How the images are composed to illustrate the fall of the housing market (i.e. no set-ups, original scenarios, abandonement of the properties).

- The location from which the images were taken from and how it depicts the on-going problem (i.e. 6 states in the USA).
All images were taken in The New Art Gallery Walsall, Exhibition: Edgar Martins This is not a House 30 Sept 2011 - 24 Dec 2011.
